rules

rule 0

Clues for a puzzle can hidden anywhere on the website, including in the source code. In other words, anything accessible to the solver may be used as a part of a puzzle.

rule 1

Puzzles with solutions that require outside knowledge or references will have a <!--gb--> comment in the page's source code. Likewise, if a <!--gb--> comment exists, then the puzzle requires outside knowledge/references. "Outside knowledge" is defined as any information not accessible directly from this website.

rule 2

To submit and verify your answer for a puzzle, type it into the URL, after the folder name (e.g. puzzle1/yoursolutionhere). Only lowercase letters and numbers are permitted as page names, so do not input any special characters that would not typically be part of a URL. If the solution involves multiple words, remove the spaces between them.

rule 3

Certain "intermediary" pages exist to help you along your way. Rule 2 may not necessarily apply to these pages: be creative when it comes to locating them.
